Grow Your Own Gourmet Nuts! The Beaumont Macadamia is natural hybrid of Macadamia tetraphylla and M. integrifolia and is grown both for its ornamental appeal and its nut producing ability. It has an exotic, creamy bark, with thick foliage. Mature trees usually grow to 15ft - 20ft, producing masses of fragrant bright pink flowers on racemes up to 15" long.

Monkey Pod is a stunning shade tree from tropical America where it produces a large, dome-shaped canopy and can grow to 50-80 feet tall with a trunk 5 feet in diameter. It has low spreading branches with evergreen oval leaflets. The leaflets are light sensitive and fold together on the approach of rain, or on cloudy days. The tree produces thousands of "powder puff" type flowers that have long, bicolor pink and white stamens that are grouped in dense heads, with multiple flowers per head.
